Welcome to NEW MEDIA WORKSHOP! Get ready to embark on an exciting journey with me!
I am passionate about learning, growing, and sharing my experiences and creative skills with others.
A little bit about myself...
My creative practice has been very active since my teenage years back in Brazil. I've always had the drive to communicate my ideas through visual arts, from designing eye-catching logos for local businesses, creating websites, painting murals across the city, putting together art exhibitions, and building my own toys.
My expertise is diverse and spans from teaching art to k-12 in Fairfax County, VA, Immersive Media at University of Maryland, 2D/3D Design & Drawing courses at Northern Virginia Community College. I own a BFA fromCorcoran College of Art & Design, MAT from George Washington University, and MFA from Maine College of Art & Design with New Media concentration. Mediums I work with (but not limited to) are virtual/augmented reality, creative coding, 3D modeling and printing, animation, graphic and web design, generative media, robotics, video projection and audio works---- on top of a variety of traditional media that spans from painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, installation, etc.
I've worked with many art institutions and organizations that include museums, art galleries, public schools, and ONGs and have my works in many private collections. Feel free to find out more about my creative practice and professional experience in my portfolio and CV
